




Students at Kelly Elementary are already making great use out of the 10 computers with new software, and the fourth grade class is excited about their three flex cams and LCD projector which has enhanced their curriculum.




Both students and teachers have benefited from the new technology at Hope. The teacher workstations and PC equipment is a reflection of how donations for Hope's technology replacement program has begun.





The smiling faces in the library may have something to do with the five hundred library books that were donated to Calavera Hills Middle School. The students, however, are serious about their school work and use the 10 new desktop PCs and new printers to get their work done!





The classrooms at Calavera Hills Elementary have taken on a whole new look with the "STAR tablet" PCs, 3 projection systems and the AlphaSmart devices.





Carlsbad Village Academy received a unique donation of a digital projector and multimedia cart with an upgrade kit for their computers which can be used for editing.







At Magnolia learning is more interactive with the 4 additional sets of computer equipment, a laptop, new projection devices and a starboard interactive program. Magnolia's existing televisions gained a new function with the 4 new video flex cameras. The Social Studies/History and Science departments have specifically benefited from a donated text book.









Physical education has taken on a new meaning with the audio-visual projection system in the fitness lab! Valley sixth graders are becoming geography-savy with the 2 ancient world map sets and 8 land cover roll-up world maps. The Library at Valley Middle School received a SMART board (whiteboard) and the school received an interdisciplinary unit for their Harlem Renaissance which included videos, posters, prints, oils, canvases and so on, and so on, and so on!!!











Music can fill the halls of Jefferson Elementary now that they have a piano dolly to move their piano throughout the campus! Teachers and students are enjoying their donations: teachers have a "teacher web" resource to refine teacher web skills and students will enjoy a year-long subscription to BrainPOP magazine.










Classrooms at Buena Vista Elementary received an exciting addition of mobile projector carts with and LCD projector, speakers, DVD/VCR...the works! The library was provided with new library technology to teach useful skills.



Aviara Oaks Middle School's lucky number is THREE- they received 3 computers, 3 projectors for science and 3 wireless tablets!





Aviara Oaks Elementary School received fifteen computers for 3 kindergarten classes, 2 computers with unique software for special needs students, and audio novels to accompany the Houghton Mifflin Literature series.





Pacific Rim made their computers complete with 29 monitors to hook up to computer towers and exciting software.










Last but certainly not least, Carlsbad High School has access to 3 electronic databases in the library and a forty-one volume set of "Facts on File." We'll see what new discoveries pop up with the Vernier LabPro to enhance science experiments. Carlsbad High School TV received a digital video camera, a microphone system and Apple computer editing system. The Art Club not only received art supplies such as silk screening supplies, but storage space to organize their new and old materials.
