2008 CELEBRATE CARLSBAD DAY and

Kids Are Worth A Million™ Telethon

On Saturday, May 3, 2008, LEGOLAND, California partnered with the Carlsbad Educational Foundation to provide an opportunity for local residents and their families to enjoy a fun-filled day at LEGOLAND, California and celebrate education!!
The event was a ‘GIANT PEP RALLY for education … A ‘Brag-A-Thon’ to celebrate our unique school programs … An opportunity to showcase student performances and generous sponsorships during the filming of the 8th Annual Kids Are Worth A Million™ Telethon!!
Thanks to Time Warner Cable and the amazing broadcasting students at Carlsbad High and Valley Middle School, the taped Telethon was broadcast on Channel 19 on Friday, May 16th through Sunday, May 18th.
